The Benefits of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

When you want maximum fitness results with minimum workout time, high intensity interval training (HIIT) may be your answer. Unlike traditional cardio workouts where you typically exercise for a longer time at 50-70% of your capacity, a HIIT routine combines short intervals (about 20 to 90 seconds) of full on activity with periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise.
